NAVIGATIONAL RESTRICTIONS

The Parade is held at High tide in the Pithlaschascotee " Cotee River."  The bridge at US 19 is expected to have a clearance of ten 10" feet.  The minimal depth in the river at high tide in the established channel is six feet deep.  The turn radius at the Main Street basin is fifty yards.  It is not uncommon for boats 45"  (cigarette boat) in length to participate in the parade.  Boats must be capable of maneuvering at idle speed.  The Cotee River is a no wake river.  Review your navigational charts.  For boats with displays which exceed ten feet from water level see Parade Staging.
