PARADE STAGING
Staging for the parade will occur at Miller's Bayou and for those vessels with decorations which exceed ten 10' feet in height from water level which are capable of being lowered for US 19 bridge clearance. A limited number of vessels may stage at the Moonlight Bayou northeast of the US 19 bridge. The staging area will be the first opportunity for the judges' boat to review the various entries. The judge's boat will be clearly marked. It will review all boats in the staging areas. Remember to clearly display your entry number. Review the judging criteria. The judges will then be taken to the judges platform in Sim's Park. The National Anthem will play and the parade will begin. The first entrant must wait for the judges to be seated or risk failure to be judged. Follow the advise of the Parade Marshall. The Parade Marshall/Starter will have a megaphone.
